Science Humor The Science Party

"Seeing Humor in Life, The Universe and Everything Since 2011." This group is part of our neuropsychological study. We are testing a series of hypotheses related to science and humor. Our primary goal is to answer the question: "Do scientists have a sense of humor?" Our null hypothesis is that scientists do not have a sense of humor. Our alternative hypothesis (H1) is that scientists do have a sense of humor. If the data indicate that we can reject the null hypothesis, we want to address the question, is a scientist's sense of humor significantly different (P=0.05) from the average person? Our null hypothesis is that a scientist's sense of humor is not significantly different from an average person. But of course, that depends on whether we accept the alternative hypothesis from Experiment 1, that a scientist has a sense of humor at all. (BTW this group is for anyone who loves science but does not need the F word to say so.)
